Hi, I’m Victoria Eaglebear

I earned a Bachelor of Arts from California State University in 2005 with an emphasis in painting and printmaking. I served as an Army officer from 2010-2014 and graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) with a Master of Business Administration in 2018. I recently served at PACT Program Director at The Center for Integrative Counseling and Psychology. PACT stands for Partnerships for Accessible Counseling and Training and is an innovative program that teams with established nonprofits whose clients would not have access to mental health care.

I served as a panelist for UTD’s Military Veteran Center’s program, Exploring Stories of Military Service: Veteran Storytelling Workshop in 2021. I taught an Art Collage Making Activity at the Women Vets Moving Forward Through Creative Arts Event hosted by the National Endowment for the Arts and Art Spark Texas in 2021 and 2022. These events led me to facilitate art workshops that help others connect with and explore their creativity through art. My mission is to give people the space and support to be able to learn to see the world in a different way. Through these workshops, I give participants the knowledge and tools to make a creative arts practice in their own lives. I have found art to be a consistent thread throughout my life and hopes that its therapeutic properties are discovered and utilized by all that I have the opportunity to work alongside.

I am a deeply reflective oil painter whose work focuses on creating wildlife and nature portraits. Recently, my paintings have evolved into narrative compositions dealing with mental health themes. I boldly use wildlife and nature scenes to tell my story when words are not adequate. By illustrating emotions of grief, loss, and the journey toward self-discovery, I hope that others will be empowered to share their stories.
